Ingredients

  • 10 tang yuan glutinous rice balls
  • Breadcrumbs for coating

Instructions

Boil the Tang Yuan:

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Add 10 tang yuan to the boiling water.
  • Gently stir the tang yuan to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Cool the Tang Yuan:

  • Remove the tang yuan and place them in ice water for better texture. You can also use room temperature water.

Prepare for Air Frying:

  • Coat the cooled tang yuan evenly with breadcrumbs.
  • Use a toothpick to make a few small holes in each tang yuan.

Air Fry:

  • Line the air fryer basket with a layer of parchment paper. Place the tang yuan in the basket.
  • Set the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and cook for 8-10 minutes.
