Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 6 cup Water
  • 1 ripe mango diced
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • Sugar optional, to taste
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

Prepare the Sago:

  • Boil water in a pot.
  • Add sago pearls and cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.

Cooking Process:

  • Once sago pearls turn translucent with a small white dot in the center, turn off the heat.
  • Let it sit covered for another 15 minutes.
  • Rinse cooked sago pearls with cold water for better texture.

Assembling the Dessert:

  • Put some mango in a bowl and mash it.
  • Add the cooked sago pearls over the mashed mango.

Final Touches:

  • Add diced mango pieces on top.
  • Pour coconut milk over the mixture.
  • Optionally, add sugar to taste if desired.

Serve:

  • Mix everything well.
  • Serve chilled with ice cubes if preferred.
